She established Voice of Significance Seminars, LLC in February 2009 to combine her professional experience with her natural talents of leadership and motivation to help others realize their full potential. The company is based in Belcamp, Maryland.

The company’s mission is to empower people worldwide with practical tools and principles to find their unique voice and fulfill their life’s purpose. The company carries out its mission by developing and providing various services and products for women, ages 30 and over, and others seeking life-enhancing opportunities.

About La Vonne Sumler

LaVonne is the Founder and CEO of Voice of Significance Seminars, LLC; author of Restoration to My Perfection: Daily Affirmations and Journal; and creator and co-facilitator of “This Woman’s Work,” a series of workshops focusing on women’s issues. She has a wealth of interdisciplinary experience, including business administration, research administration, workshop facilitation, and spiritual teaching and healing. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University (JHU) and a former Associate Director for Research Administration at the JHU School of Public Health.

Despite all of her success, LaVonne one day realized that she was leading an unfulfilled life. She recognized that for most of her life she had been doing what was expected of her by someone else, even when it meant giving up the things that she desired most for herself. She vowed that she would discover her soul’s purpose so that she could live the life for which she longed.

Once LaVonne had set a clear intention, the Universe presented her with opportunities to do the work. Many challenges began to surface in her work and personal relationships. She began to journal and meditate consistently. She discovered that many of those relationships no longer served her, so she made a conscious choice to release, let go, and let God. Once she realized that the answers to all her questions could be found within, she began to believe in herself. In the process, she found her own voice. LaVonne accepted that God wanted her to use it to teach other women who have been living in the shadows like her to find and use their voice, too. She realized that although women have some unique issues, all people desired to be healed.

With that revelation, LaVonne committed her life to the emotional healing of people around the world and created Voice of Significance Seminars, LLC as the vehicle to help others realize their full potential. LaVonne believes that her best is yet to come and so is yours.

Her seminars and workshops integrate a refreshing blend of exercises, music, and lectures that enable participants to examine their own lives and explore ways to bring about desired change. LaVonne creates a loving and safe atmosphere that gives people permission to be vulnerable—the perfect environment for healing from past experiences that have impeded their spiritual growth.
